The standard guide for choosing your corset size is to measure your waist with a soft tape measure and then subtract 3 or 4 inches (do not suck in your waist or you will be unhappy with the fit). If your waist measures an odd number subtract 3 inches, if your waist measures an even number then subtract 4 inches. This will give you the waist size of the corset you require and is what your waist will be reduced to when the corset is laced as tightly as possible.
Example 1 – Your waist measures 29 inches, subtract 3 inches = 26 inches – this is the corset size you require.
Example 2 - Your waist measures 32 inches, subtract 4 inches = 28 inches – this is the corset size you require.
If you are used to wearing a steel boned corset and have a “trained” waist, then you may wish to choose a smaller size.
